I love that different lighting can completely change a mood. It almost feels like each one has its own personality even though it's the same exact perfume bottle and background for all of them!
You can even compare it to everyday lighting! Imagine a romantic dinner, you wouldn't want bright fluorescent lights! Talk about a mood killer. But now imagine you're at the doctor's office, you wouldn't want your doctor working under twinkly string lights 😬 haha.
This is one reason why it's so important to establish the mood and vibe of the shoot first! Often we talk about things like colors, setting, wardrobe, etc, and use those to set the tone, but in the back of my head, I'm also thinking about things like lighting and how that can affect the look you're going for. A well-planned and thought-out shoot is key to good marketing! 🙌🏻
