Low-key, I am SUPER obsessed with plants and greenery but also low-key I cannot keep them alive, like at all, not even succulents. 😅😭 That being said, they are perfect for photoshoots. 🌱 I love finding different ways to incorporate nature in my shoots! 🤍🌿 Here are some of my favorite ways to use them!
BACKGROUND
Having greenery in the background adds the perfect touch of color to a photo. Not to mention it creates an atmosphere of warmth and liveliness.
FRAMING
Use plants as a natural framing element. It's a great way to keep the focus on the subject while incorporating nature.
IMMERSED
When there's enough greenery around, I love to actually put my subject in the heart of it all and really let them be one with nature.
PRODUCT STYLING
I almost never do a product photoshoot without using florals and greenery as styling elements. Brings freshness to the photo. Especially works great for natural products.
PROPS
You know that moment when you don't know what to do with your hands? Well using different plants as props is a great way to make hands feel at ease in a photo.
SHADOWS
I love shadows. Honestly one of my favorite elements. Planning with sun, shadows, and plants is my jam!! I use fresh flowers whenever I can, but fake florals and greenery is great for shadows!
