the Phoneix community got the chance to enjoy a magical night under the flowers! The evening was filled with childlike whimsy and generous giving! 100% of the print sale profits were donated to the local charity, Free Arts for Abused Children of Arizona!

Inspired by childhood drawings, photographer Lindsay McOien reflected on the power and privilege of creating art while giving back to the next generation. The main collection told a story of childhood wonderment and the journey of turning dreams into reality. The gallery also showcased multi-media installations, inviting viewers to celebrate the freedom to play, create, and express themselves in every way imaginable.

The Results

By the end of the night, almost every large, framed print and countless small prints were sold! 🥳 Plus the online shop extended the gallery for one more week! So, after the final calculations, the Lost in Bloom Art Gallery raised over $2,200 for Free Arts!!! This money is going to help SO many children in the AZ community!

$2,229.05 does ALL of this and more:
🥪 Provide lunch for 55 children at camp
🎨 Provide art supplies for 100 children
🎤 Fund a professional artist series for 30 children
🫂 AND give the gift of personal mentorship to 10 foster children in need!

Plus, some things money can't buy, but Free Arts makes it all possible:
👩‍🎨 Allow children the opportunity to express themselves in a safe environment
❤️‍🩹 Heal their trauma through art therapy
🫶 And surround themselves with loving and caring adults.

Thank you again to everyone who attended, thank you to everyone who helped make Lost in Bloom a reality, and a big THANK YOU to everyone who spent their hard-earned money to make a difference in these children's lives!

This is truly the meaning of community. 💕
